A lightweight fixed-gear bike tour of France and Spain

On the Road (and now the water)

At 10:30 this morning, we left home, and drove to the train station. We got on a train to London Paddington (which was trickier than it should have because they almost didn’t let us bring our bikes on).  From there biked across central London (also trickier than it should have been, because most of the area we were trying to bike through was closed off for massive demonstrations) to another station. From there we took two trains to Harwich International Port, and boarded the Stena Line ferry to the Netherlands.

  2. I thought I had sent a message saying how amazing the photograph of heading into the maws of the ferry was. Good luck as you set off for France! Can’t wait to see it.
